Creating pastel paintings en plein air throughout upstate New York.
From city scenes around Rochester, the hills of the Finger Lakes and to the shore of Lake Ontario.

A beautiful day in September with soft sunlight, and the colors of the foliage just starting to show change. I was standing in a low spot lookingup the grassy hill at the distant trees. Nothing super exciting, just relaxing and calm.
Landscape art help remind us of the special places in our lives.
This is the time of year to think ahead and to consider having a "portrait" of your yard, home or garden done. If you may be interested in having your home or yard done as the subject of a pastel, please email me.
I continue to look for new locations to paint and your suggestions are always appreciated. Send me your ideas!
If you have questions about a particular painting, please feel free to contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
And as always, thank you for taking a look.
