I try to get out as often as I can in the summer because winters around here go on forever.  Here's a sampling of what got done.

Greece Performing Arts Garden Tour 2016


The Greece Performing Arts Society has had a garden tour every summer for many years as part of fund-raiser.  Part of the entertainment is to have an artist working on a plein air painting of the garden during the tour.  I had the good fortune to do this for the last few years.  It's a lot of fun and I've met so many nice people.  This photo of the painting in process is of the side porch on the house.  NFS

These were both done very early this spring.  The leaves weren't out yet, so it must have been in April.  It's really a beautiful time to paint, especially after being cooped up during the nasty winters we have around here.
