I was doing a show in Hammondsport NY at the southern end of Keuka Lake, located in a beautiful part of the Finger Lakes, but had no paintings of the Finger Lakes area. After being asked repeatedly if I did, I decided I needed to create one. I got there early before the show opened the next morning, went to Champlin Park on the southern end of the lake and painted this.size 9" x 12"
